WOW! I only just got home from my summer job and imagine my surprise when I saw all the anonymous comments! First of all, I just want to thank everyone for visiting our website and also for voting for our next project. :)
Now, down to the serious business of addressing the mangahut issue. It was them that posted my scans and they assumed that Esthetique was behind it, even though, it clearly stated on mangafox that it's not. Before you go attacking me, I only contacted manghut late last night and bear in mind that I have work this morning. I didn't have time to sit there and wait all night for them to fix the issue or reply to me. Like I said, I only just got home. I would have apologized earlier if I didn't have to go to work.
So, I sincerely apologize for my assumption and for defaming Esthetique. Remember, we didn't have a great start to begin with. I am new to this whole business of scanlating. I only started doing this because I know how frustrating it is to wait for updates.
My boyfriend pointed something out to me. He said, since Esthetique has been around longer than we have. Surely, they would have known about Mangahut and contacted them way before I even found out. They should have contacted Mangahut and told them that the scans are not their work. Anyway, I'm not going to open that can of worms so don't go abusing me because I mentioned it.
I never even want to compete with Esthetique on the quality of my scans. I know my scans are not HQ and I never claimed them to be. I translated and uploaded purely for HMR fans. Just as long as they are satisfied with my scans, then that's enough for me. I'm giving up a tremendous amount of my free time so that the fans can enjoy HMR's work. If they so desired HQ pictures, then they should support HMR and buy her manhwas when they become available in their country.
Will I continue with my updates? That's up to HMR fans. I'm going to ask Kira to set up another poll and all you have to do is click "yes" or "no". After all, I'm not going to lose anything if I stop translating. I will gain a lot of my free time back.
Again, I SINCERELY apologize for my public outburst. It should have remained a private affair between all involved.
I'm going to take my sorry ass to shower, have dinner and relax over a romantic movie. After such an eventful night of my own making and eventful day at work, this will be all I'm doing tonight. Hopefully, I won't get abused too much for apologizing this late.
