WOW! I only just got home from my summer job and imagine my surprise when I saw all the anonymous comments! First of all, I just want to thank everyone for visiting our website and also for voting for our next project. :)
Now, down to the serious business of addressing the mangahut issue. It was them that posted my scans and they assumed that Esthetique was behind it, even though, it clearly stated on mangafox that it's not. Before you go attacking me, I only contacted manghut late last night and bear in mind that I have work this morning. I didn't have time to sit there and wait all night for them to fix the issue or reply to me. Like I said, I only just got home. I would have apologized earlier if I didn't have to go to work.
So, I sincerely apologize for my assumption and for defaming Esthetique. Remember, we didn't have a great start to begin with. I am new to this whole business of scanlating. I only started doing this because I know how frustrating it is to wait for updates.
My boyfriend pointed something out to me. He said, since Esthetique has been around longer than we have. Surely, they would have known about Mangahut and contacted them way before I even found out. They should have contacted Mangahut and told them that the scans are not their work. Anyway, I'm not going to open that can of worms so don't go abusing me because I mentioned it.
I never even want to compete with Esthetique on the quality of my scans. I know my scans are not HQ and I never claimed them to be. I translated and uploaded purely for HMR fans. Just as long as they are satisfied with my scans, then that's enough for me. I'm giving up a tremendous amount of my free time so that the fans can enjoy HMR's work. If they so desired HQ pictures, then they should support HMR and buy her manhwas when they become available in their country.
Will I continue with my updates? That's up to HMR fans. I'm going to ask Kira to set up another poll and all you have to do is click "yes" or "no". After all, I'm not going to lose anything if I stop translating. I will gain a lot of my free time back.
Again, I SINCERELY apologize for my public outburst. It should have remained a private affair between all involved.
I'm going to take my sorry ass to shower, have dinner and relax over a romantic movie. After such an eventful night of my own making and eventful day at work, this will be all I'm doing tonight. Hopefully, I won't get abused too much for apologizing this late.

nahh, please continue to update boarding house of hunks and crazy girl shin bia.. it's not a problem if there is some misunderstanding here.. the most important is we, all of hwang mi ri's fans, want to read the manhwa so bad >.<
without you, we cannot read them again, cause for some people, like me, those manhwa are still not available in our places.. so we really depend on you guys who translate and scan the manhwa.. so please don't stop your marvelous works for the sake of hwang mi ri's fans, please.....

It was such a pain to wait all these years for updates on HMR projects (I was almost giving up the hope for those projects to be continued) and then rapunzel our live saver appeared and gave us the possibility to read more HMR projects and made them more popular!!

Now I know the real reason why Esthetique is so very slow.
The people over at Esthetique are all paranoids who spend most of their time going over every manga hosting site, to download every single project hosted on the sites so they can check that all the appropriate credits pages remain untampered.
I wish they spend more time scanlating!
I don't really expect Esthetique to stalk all the online reading and hosting manga sites that's why they have fans that help them by notifying them about anything regarding them (for example the previous post, lol).
Anyway now that, that is out of the way I just wanted to thank you for all the hard work. Scanlating is not easy business and takes lot of effort and time. Although you scans aren't hq like Esthetique it's still very much appreciated.
I think you should request mangahut to put down your portion of the BHOH scanlation... while they're not labeling the scanlation as Esthethique's, they're still not giving you credit for it (they just left the scanlator part blank).
And don't mind the anonymous comments in the other post. The fact that they didn't give you even a day to post correction/apology before bashing you into oblivion goes to demonstrate the level of maturity of the anonymous mob, who ironically accuse you of being immature.
Please continue to translate boarding house! You're the only translator and I look forward to seeing your translations everyday. The first thing I do when I go on mangafox is to check to see if there's a new Boarding House Chapter. I think your translations are great and it's really nice of you to take the time out to scan and translate everything for us.
I know the raws (originals) are all available already, but I do not know the language so all I can do is just look at the pictures. Your translations have been really helpful to me.

Thanks for doing the right thing and apologizing. Errare humanum est. And now that the issue with Esthetique is solved, I'm sure no one minds if you keep working on that project. The best way to keep Mangahut under control is probably to upload your chapters yourself. And truth is, there are way too many sites like that to be able to control everything, one site would be enough.
I admit some of the comments in the previous post rudely pointed out your mistake, but so were some of the people who bashed against esthetique without a second doubt. And they have no excuse unlike you, they didn't have anything stolen who would justify an impulsive reaction. That was simply their leechers' nature talking. But I also saw people who asked directly Esthetique, that was remarkable.
Yesterday a lot of people came to your site for the release and the post was smacked in their face with it, so of course there would be a few comments. Don't take it to heart, because also over at Esthetique there was someone who felt bad because of this situation. it was slightly hinted in a post, but no public announcement of what happened was made, or there'd be chaos. I think you're even now.
And to the ones who sarcastically stressed the fact that most comments were anonymous: yes, Blogspot is not that popular, not anyone wants to make an account if they don't want to keep a journal or wants strangers to look into their journals. Yesterday I posted anonymously and surely it wasn't because I was scared of someone, I shouldn't be if I take for granted that you're mature people. There was also this person who wrote that people complained about the quality of your scans. That's not it, isn't it? None of them told rapunzel that her scans suck or anything, the quality issue was mainly a point among the ones who would suggest esthetique would have had no interest in stealing rapunzel's scans. Period.
There's no way these people would have visited the site only to bash against rapunzel, because the Mangahut issue was revealed only here. They were here for the releases, and that means they appreciate them. I will keep on reading your scans as well.
I think we all appreciate your work so thank you for sharing, because when somebody else is also doing the same project is really hard for both sides to keep working with the same enthusiasm.
I also must say that even when Esthetique has been around longer than you, is just impossible to know all the hosting sites, I really don't think Esthetique knew about Mangahut (not even I knew they exist since I only know Mangafox, maybe because I don't like to read online so I don't care about knowing all the possible online sites I just go to the scanlation webpage >.<). Why I think that? Because not all the hosting sites ask for the permission of the scanlator group to share their work, they just assume you're ok with it so at the end you can't know all the places your work is being shared (I'm sure you know about this too)... and also since Esthetique is a hosting site they know how to be respectful about credit properly somebody else work so I don't think they would allow someone else work to be credit to them if they knew about it, specially when Esthetique tries to only work with HQ scans as everybody seems to know.
Anyway, thanks again for all your effort to share this project.

I love reading these no matter what the quality. As you say, if I like it, I'll buy it when it comes out...and I DO do that. It's waiting for the scans that gets us all down. I know this must be time-consuming for you and we appreciate it all soooo much. I honestly don't know what motivates you to be so kind to all of us that you don't even know! So please do as much as you feel you can but don't let it mess up your life. Anything you do will get us more releases than otherwise - for which we are profoundly grateful.

oh please, many fans out there are waiting for you to scanlate honggane and love sos so you can't just quit right now T.T. it's only a normal reaction to assume it was esthetique who uploaded it to mangahut coz it says uploaded by "esthetique" so it wasnt really your fault. and you did apologize so it's all okay now.
